Hello Phoenixers!
The committee had their November meeting on Monday at Ruby’s, with lots of tea, biscuits and some very nice cake. We discussed the usual topics and finished in reasonable time.
For those that are interested, Elaine reported that the finances are stable at the moment and we agreed start a fund to purchase mobile lighting for the group. There are some fees to collect from panto members which Anna is looking at. Dave gave us an updated on the Panto where rehearsals are going well. There is still a lot to do production and publicity wise. Productions in the pipeline included two Festival pieces (directed by Karen and Pete) and Terry Pratchett’s “Wyrd Sisters” directed by Anna. Other items discussed included the recent Games Day social event, which although everyone enjoyed was not well attended. Faye is organizing the Christmas Social (20th December) so please speak to her if you want to find out more or get involved. We also agreed to start writing this Blog!!
