You don’t have to be an acting luvvie to join in the fun!
The great thing about Phoenix is that there are plenty of other activities to enjoy - from the more artistic endeavours like scenery painting/building, prop making, costumes, lighting, sound, to the more practical tasks like front of house, stage management, prompting, refreshments, publicity. We don’t ask for any experience just bundles of enthusiasm. Failing that, you could come along and enjoy the odd play reading or social event.
So whether you want to tread the boards, develop your artistic skills or just make some new friends, there will be something for you to enjoy.
We meet regularly on a Wednesday evening from 8pm at the Northbourne Centre, Church Street, Didcot, and generally stage at least 3 shows a year, including our annual Pantomime in January.
Why not come along a couple of evenings and see what we are up to and then if you like what you see, become a member!
(Please note that the Northbourne Centre has very limited Wheel Chair Access).
We don't just have fun doing productions, but have many social events too.
