About Phoenix....
We are a friendly, social amateur drama group that welcomes members of all backgrounds and abilities.
You don’t have to be an acting luvvie to join in the fun!
The great thing about Phoenix is that there are plenty of other activities to enjoy - from the more artistic endeavours like scenery painting/building, prop making, costumes, lighting, sound, to the more practical tasks like front of house, stage management, prompting, refreshments, publicity. We don’t ask for any experience just bundles of enthusiasm. Failing that, you could come along and enjoy the odd play reading or social event.
So whether you want to tread the boards, develop your artistic skills or just make some new friends, there will be something for you to enjoy.
We meet regularly on a Wednesday evening from 8pm at the Northbourne Centre, Church Street, Didcot, and generally stage at least 3 shows a year, including our annual Pantomime in January.
